Sun Country: Caribbean Blues

As I watch the temperature slide towards the overnight low of -11 degrees F (as in Fahrenheit, but I'd forgive you for swapping in another word), the need for color and warmth seems mandatory.  Maybe another pic from Miami will perk us all up...

Here's my Instagrammed memory of our short walkabout in Little Haiti.  While slightly enhanced, the colors really were that vibrant, and our short time in this neighborhood introduced us to some unique places.

Sun Country

Only a week ago, I was basking in the sun and warmth of south Florida.  Now huddled inside, hiding from subzero windchills, my recent vacation sadly does feel like a dream.  Thankfully, this picture I snapped in the Wynwood arts district of Miami proves it wasn't made up.  More to follow soon.
